Resists stretching even in situations where aggressive handling is required or when using large pieces of material.• DrapeMinimum drape lets the splinter control the degree of conformity. Omega™ Plus conforms easily around the larger contours of the leg, back or arm. With firmer handling, Omega™ Plus forms around the smaller contours of the hand without fingerprinting or stretching. Ideal for splinting clients who are unable to cooperate due to spasticity or painful contractures.• Memory/RecoveryWith 100% memory, splints can be remolded as frequently as needed for serial splinting or to achieve proper positioning.• RigiditySplints have maximum rigidity and do not require reinforcements. Upper and lower extremity splints will hold their position even against strong pressure or hypertonicity.• BondingOmega™ Plus has a unique powder coating that provides a tacky surface when warm. Two pieces of material bonded with hot water form a firm but temporary bond that can be pulled apart when cool. A strong, permanent bond is achieved by applying minimum solvent and dry heat to both surfaces and pressing together firmly. • Surface FinishMaximum resistance to fingerprints and other surface marks. Can tolerate aggressive handling.
